Société des amis de la bibliothèque d’art et d’archéologie

We support the Société des Amis d’Art et d’Archéologie (SABAA), which was founded in 1925 by Jacques Doucet to support and strengthen the donation of his art history and archaeology library to the University of Paris. Now the library of the Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art (INHA), housed in the Salle Labrouste on the Richelieu site of the BnF, it is an essential resource for art history students and researchers. Like us, join the SABAA, which continues to work on enriching, restoring and digitising the library’s heritage collection.

Les Amateurs de dessins des Beaux-arts de Paris

Created in 2005, the association Les Amateurs de Dessins des Beaux-Arts de Paris has since made a significant and active contribution to enriching the Ecole des Beaux-Arts drawing collections. It has also constantly worked to pass on the knowledge and passion of drawing to young people by developing an educational project with the Créteil and Versailles academies.
We have been supporting this association since 2012.

Musée Angladon, Avignon

The Angladon Museum in Avignon houses part of Jacques Doucet’s collection, inherited by his nephew Jean Dubrujeaud, then by the latter’s son, Jean Angladon-Dubrujeaud. Together with his wife Paulette Martin, Jean Angladon-Dubrujeaud set up a museum for the collection in the Hôtel de Massillan. The history of Jacques Doucet’s collection is presented there, and the highlights of this legacy—paintings, furniture, and objects of art—are displayed to great effect in the beautiful rooms of this 18th-century mansion.

Exhibition : Jacques Émile Blanche. Peindre le Temps perdu.

An exhibition with Proustian overtones that pays tribute, through some sixty paintings, to this artist of the Belle Époque and post-war period, who was not only a painter but also a musician, art critic, and chronicler. The exhibition wonderfully evokes the literary, cultural, and social circles whose members Blanche portrayed and whose venues he depicted with great talent and sensitivity.

On display at the Angladon Museum in Avignon until October 12, 2025.
